ICE SKATING
Birmingham city council has kindly frozen a slab of water for people to go sliding on. I say we take oppertunity of this.
It's open from 10am and it'll cost £7 (it includes the skate hire).
I understand some shopping of the birthdail nature has to be done and I also understand that not all want to slide, so this is my suggestion: some go shopping while the rest are dropped off at the kids club while mummy and daddy go shopping.

but i want to do both. :P
we can go visit my other home as robyn said the ice rink was at nia which is near it :D or we could not :P
visiting steffs digs gets my vote. but will i be allowed in?
We've been in before ;p
Annd yeah, i'd like to do both even if i do fall on my ass. Haven't been ice skating properly since i was at parkside.
What day are we talking about? 'Cos i probably wont be able to go unless its tomorrow, wednesday or friday :S
But that's ok, if i can't go then yall have a good time.
they start heating up the ice on the 15th. but im assuming birthdial shopping will have to be done by the 7th? im free any day since im now unemployed
has a day been suggested by anyone?im going back to keele this week but i might be able to go
I can't go Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays. Any other time is gut ja.
so tomorrow, wednesday or friday.
im need to give blood osmetime on wednesday but i could do that in the evening, otherwise i can go anyday
my vote is for wednesday, busses should be back to normal, most of the brats should be back in school thus quieter and our university chums might be able to make it
sooooooo what do people think?
ok wednesday, what time?
can get bus or train
trains leave from bromsgrove for new street at 10 to the hour and take 26mins
buses leave at 18, 38 and 58 mins past hour and take 1 hour
ill probably take the bus as its only down the road from me, just got arange a time to be in birmingham if we are all traveling by different means
I'd prefer the train :s
then go on the choo-choo and we'll meet up in the land of brum
i prefer train, buses are slow and manky.
i tihnk we shud get the 11.50 or 12.50 train
so, 11:50 train then, where are we meeting? Anyone walking down or whatever?
how about we meet in centinery square (im correct in thinking thats where the rink is right?) at 12:30?
k not sure where that is, robyn said it was near nia so we will head that way :P
people getting train meet at 11.40
i will be walking down
head for the big wheel
